Can I change the WhatsApp number connected to Cooby?

Yes, you can switch to a different WhatsApp number at any time. Your plan and seat billing are not affected. The steps depend on how you connect.

Chrome Extension

Log out of WhatsApp Web and log back in with your new number. Settings tied to your old number, such as custom tabs and notes, may not carry over.

Cloud Sync

Disconnect your current connection. See Managing Cloud Sync Connections.
Scan the QR code again with the WhatsApp app of your new number.

WhatsApp Business API

Before you switch, make sure your admin has added the new number to your company's Meta Business portfolio.

Disconnect your current connection.
Connect again with your new number by following How to connect Cooby with WhatsApp Business API.

What happens to your CRM records

Records already synced to your CRM are not affected. After you switch, conversations from your new number sync only for contacts that exist in your CRM.
