Chat View allows you to view any Auto-Synced chat in an easy to read format.

It is a Cooby hosted page that displays the chat in its original form with the syncer on the right side, and all other participants on the left side.


Basic: How to find Chat View in HubSpot Contact

Chat View is only available for Auto-synced messages, there are 2 ways that you can review the chat on HubSpot Contact.

  • WhatsApp Chats

    You can access the chat view through the WhatsApp Chats by Cooby section in the right sidebar of your HubSpot contacts.

How to review the CRM card:

  • Card Name: Displays the chat's name.

    • 1:1 Chat: Shows the contact and the agent's name.

    • Group Chat: Displays the group chat name.

  • Chat Type: Indicates whether it's a 1:1 chat or Group chat.

  • Last Message Time: Reflects the last contact moment based on the timezone you've set in HubSpot.

Click the link you want to review the conversation for, and the Live Chat will be displayed.

  • WhatsApp Activity

You can find the link in any of the Logged WhatsApp messages on HubSpot.

If you don't see Logged WhatsApp messages on your HubSpot page click on Filter activity and check WhatsApp.


Advance: How to find Chat View in HubSpot Company

Only Growth & Custom plan users can access the Chat View in HubSpot Companies, Deals, and Tickets.

When you create a contact associated with a company, all chats involving this contact will be displayed on the right side of the company page in HubSpot.

If multiple contacts are associated with the same company, all contacts' messages will be visible.

How to associate:

  1. Click on a company you've created in HubSpot.

  2. Click +Add in the contact field on the right sidebar.

  3. Search for the contact in the search field, select the result, and click Save.

  4. You'll see the contact has been added to your company contact field.

  5. Scroll down the right sidebar to notice the WhatsApp Chats by Cooby, displaying all conversations with these contacts.


Advance: How to find Chat View in HubSpot Deal

Only Growth & Custom plan users can access the Chat View in HubSpot Companies, Deals, and Tickets.

When you create a deal on WhatsApp linked to a specific contact, the corresponding deal in HubSpot will automatically link to this contact. Moreover, the conversation involving this contact will also be recorded within this deal.

Advance: How to find Chat View in HubSpot Ticket

Only Growth & Custom plan users can access the Chat View in HubSpot Companies, Deals, and Tickets.

When you initiate a ticket on WhatsApp associated with a particular contact, the corresponding ticket in HubSpot will automatically establish a connection with this contact. Additionally, the conversation involving this contact will be logged within this ticket.

How to share Chat View

You can easily share the conversation with your coworkers by sharing the link to a particular Chat View.

Simply click on the Copy share link button on the top-right corner.

Only users in the same Workspace will be able to view the chat.
