View WhatsApp properties in Salesforce

The following is a guide for how to view WhatsApp properties in Contact and Leads’ page.


How to customize Salesforce UI

  1. Go to Setup -> Object Manager

  2. Select Contact -> Page Layout -> Contact Layout, click dropdown button and select Edit.

  3. Drag and drop the 13 properties to Contact Information area

    • First message sent by contact (all chats)

    • First message sent by team (all chats)

    • First message sent by contact (1:1 chats)

    • First message sent by team (1:1 chats)

    • First message sent by contact (group chats)

    • First message sent by team (group chats)

    • Last message sent by contact (all chats)

    • Last message sent by team (all chats)

    • Last message sent by contact (1:1 chats)

    • Last message sent by team (1:1 chats)

    • Last message sent by contact (group chats)

    • Last message sent by team (group chats)

    • Last WhatsApp contact properties update time

  4. Click Save, and you should see the new properties being added to the contact layout.

  5. Repeat step 2-4 for Lead (Setup -> Object Manager -> Lead -> Page Layout -> Lead Layout)

The properties are immediately updated when a new message is uploaded to Salesforce.
