The All tab displays all your conversations, regardless of any actions taken, and does not remove them. As its name suggests, it shows everything.
On the other hand, the Inbox tab is designed for quick chat triage and achieving inbox zero. You can remove chats from this tab by clicking Close, Snooze, or Archive. But don't worry, if you receive a new message from the same contact, the chat will reappear in this tab.
