The following is a guide for how to grant permission for selected profiles so that all team member have the access to Cooby integration.
Go to Setup -> Users ->
Profile
, and select the Profile you wish to grant Cooby access to. (Custom: System Administrator as an example)Search for Cooby, and make sure both Cooby_setup and Cooby Connect are checked.
If you want to edit, click the
Edit
on the top.Go back to Step 2, search Field-Level Security
Find the Contact object, and click [View].
Make sure
Account Name, Name, Phone, Mobile, Email, and Title
have both Read Access and Edit Access enabled. If not, clickEdit
to enable access, and clickSave
.Back to Profile.
Find the Lead object, and click [View].
Make sure
Name, Phone, Mobile, Email, Company, Title, Lead Status, LeadSource, and Rating
have both Read Access and Edit Access enabled. If not, clickEdit
to enable access, and clickSave

Go to Setup -> Users ->
Permission Sets
. Change the 3 permissions below to users who need Cooby accessCooby Edit - for users that should have the ability to sync Messages between Cooby and Salesforce
Cooby Read - for users that should have the ability to read Messages in the WhatsApp conversation component on a Contact/Lead/Task page
Cooby Setup - for users that should have access for the Cooby Setup app
Click
Cooby Edit
, then clickManage Assignments

Add Assignment
, choose the users you wish to grant permissions.Repeat a&b for all 3 permissions: Cooby Edit, Cooby Read, Cooby Setup.
