What are the technical measures in place to ensure data security?

Cooby is hosted with Amazon Web Services and the default location is AWS US. The data centre hosting location applicable to each Cooby customer can vary if an organization uses our data residency feature. Data residency for Cooby allows global teams to choose the region where certain types of data at rest are stored.

**Secure Data Transfer**

Cooby employ robust encryption methodologies for data transmission to protect information as it traverses over the network, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the transmitted data.

**API Security and Authentication**

Access to our APIs is strictly regulated and safeguarded. Only requests accompanied by a valid and authorized token are processed, acting as a security barrier against unauthorized and malicious access attempts to our services.

**Encryption of Sensitive Data**

Cooby accord the highest priority to securing sensitive information. All such data are encrypted before being stored, rendering it unintelligible and secure against unauthorized access and breaches.

**Leveraging AWS Security Protocols**

Cooby utilization of Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a hosting provider enables us to inherit and incorporate their comprehensive and industry-leading security practices and protocols. This includes AWS’s stringent physical security, network security, and data encryption, thereby providing an added layer of protection to our systems and data.
