Articles on: Using Cooby

Template

From now on, you may send recurring messages with a single click. Best part? You can make them personalized with variables so your customers would not even suspect that they're templates!

How to create templates

Open Cooby Extension

Click on the Templates icon found on the navigation bar

Create new templates by clicking on the "+"

Personalize your templates with variables. Choose between:

{{display_name}} - individual contact or group chat name saved on your device

{{whatsapp_name}} - WhatsApp user's chosen name in their profile

You can also attach a file to your template.

There are two limitations to consider when attaching templates:

The file size cannot exceed 20MB.

You can attach a maximum of 5 files.

How to send templates

Open a conversation that you wish to send a template to

Click on the Templates found on the navigation bar

Select the template that you wish to use

Before sending, you may further customize and personalize the template to best suit your use case.

You can also sort chats into custom tabs and the contacts will be automatically grouped in that tab after sending.
