Tabs group the chats in your WhatsApp Web inbox so you can focus on what matters. Cooby has two types of tabs: System Tabs, which Cooby sorts for you, and Custom Tabs, which you create.

System Tabs

System Tabs sort your chats automatically based on their latest activity.

• Inbox: Chats that are not Closed, Snoozed, or Archived. Use this tab to focus on your most important chats.
• Starred: Chats you marked as Starred.
• Closed: Chats you marked as Closed. A closed chat reopens when you get a new message.
• Snoozed: Chats you snoozed. They return to Inbox when the snooze time is up or when you unsnooze them.
• All: Every chat, whether it is closed or snoozed. To find archived chats, click Archived in the chat list.
• Unread: Chats with unread messages.
• Awaiting Reply: Chats where you are waiting for a reply.
• Needs Reply: Chats you haven't replied to yet.
• Mentions: Chats where you were mentioned in the past 48 hours.
• Groups: Chats with 3 or more people.
• Individuals: All 1:1 chats.
• Official Accounts: Chats from verified accounts.
• Broadcast List: Chats from broadcast lists.

Inbox vs All

The All tab shows every conversation, and chats never leave it. The Inbox tab is built for quick triage and inbox zero. When you close, snooze, or archive a chat, it leaves Inbox, and it comes back when the contact sends a new message.

Custom Tabs

Create your own tabs to group chats by customer stage, project, or anything else that fits your workflow.

1. Open Tab Settings in the upper right corner.

2. Click + Create.

3. Choose a recommended tab, or type your own name.

4. Click Create.

5. Select the chats you want to add to the tab, or skip this step and add them later.

To add more chats, rename, reorder, hide, or change a tab's emoji, see Manage tabs.

Can I use WhatsApp Business labels as Cooby tabs?

Not at the moment. WhatsApp Business labels and Cooby tabs work separately.
