Import Contacts

Gone are the days when you'd have to save contacts to your mobile one by one first for them to be accessible on WhatsApp Web. You may bulk import unsaved contacts with a simple click!

1. Look for the import icon found above the chat list.

2. Upload a CSV file of contact numbers with the format of country code + WhatsApp number. You may download a sample CSV file for best practices found in the pop-up itself.

3. Once you've uploaded the file, select which tab to import the contacts to.

4. Click on Import it to finalize.

Note:

• The phone number you wish to import should be in "TEXT" format within the CSV file.
• We only support importing phone numbers and do not support importing WhatsApp names.
