Create HubSpot Workflows

Do you want to automate your team’s tasks based on WhatsApp activity? Now you can create HubSpot workflows with WhatsApp activity to automate your sales process.

Example workflow



Any time you receive a WhatsApp message on a linked contact the Lead status will be set to Open.


Setup steps



Go to HubSpot > Workflows
Click on Create workflow > From scratch
Make sure that “Contact-based” is selected and click Next
Set up trigger
a. Click on Set up triggers , choose Activity properties and choose Activity type
b. In the Activity type dropdown, search and click on WhatsApp. Click on Apply filter
c. Hit Save
Set up Action
a. Click on the + icon to add an Action
b. Search for property and click on Set property value
c. Set the “Target object” to Contact and set “Property to set” as Lead status
d. Choose Open in the “Lead status” dropdown
e. Hit Save
Click on Review and publish
Click on Yes, enroll existing contacts who meet the trigger criteria as of now
Hit Turn on
