# Signal

Signal is an AI assistant in your Cooby Workspace that answers questions about your team's WhatsApp conversations. Ask in plain language, for example how quickly your team replies or which chats need a follow-up, and Signal shows the answer with charts and the conversations behind it.

## Ask a question
1. In your Cooby Workspace, click **Signal** in the sidebar.
2. Type your question in the box at the bottom, or pick one of the suggestions.
3. Click send. Signal answers in the chat and shows the details on the **Analysis canvas** on the right.
Ask follow-up questions in the same analysis to dig deeper. Include a time range, such as "last 7 days" or "in September", so Signal knows which period to check. Signal works with conversations from the last 90 days and answers in the language you ask in.

## What you can ask
* An overview of your team's conversations
* How quickly your team replies, by member or by period
* Which chats might need a follow-up
* Which chats mention a topic, such as pricing or a demo request
* How one period compares with another

## Read the answer

* **Coverage** shows whether Signal checked every synced message in the period. Click **Details** to see what was included.
* **Matches** lists the conversations behind the answer. Click one to open it in Conversations.
* **Export data** downloads the results as CSV, XLSX or JSON.

## Manage your analyses
Each conversation with Signal is saved as an analysis. Your analyses are private, so only you can see them unless you share them.
* To find an analysis, click the search box at the top of the chat.
* To start a new one, click **+**.
* To rename or delete an analysis you own, open its menu in the list. Deleting is permanent.

## Share an analysis
Click **Share** to share an analysis with your workspace. Teammates can read it but cannot ask follow-ups. Only the owner can continue it.

Under each answer, click 👍 or 👎 and add a note to tell us what worked or what was wrong.
