# Set Tab emoji

Add emojis to tab names for more visual direction. Additionally, you can choose to display icons instead of text on your contacts.

### How to change tab emoji

1. Head on over to the **tab settings** found on the upper right side of your screen.

2. Click on the **pencil icon** to edit the tab.

3. Click **the icon** to choose a different one for your tab.

4. Click **Save**

### Display only with the tab icon

1. Head on over to the **tab settings** found on the upper right side of your screen.

2. Scroll down until you find **Display only emoji when applicable** and toggle it on.

3. You will only see icons in your contact list, as well as in the contact conversation view.
