# Blocking Contacts in Your Workspace

Blocked Contacts lets you keep specific WhatsApp contacts out of your Cooby workspace. When you block a contact, their 1:1 chats are removed from the workspace and no team member can sync them. This is useful for personal contacts, spam numbers, or any conversation that shouldn't be shared with your team or CRM.

### Blocking a Contact
1. Go to [Workspace Settings](https://app.cooby.co/settings/blocked-contacts) and select **Blocked Contacts** under WhatsApp.
2. Click **+ Block a contact** in the top right corner.
3. Enter the contact's WhatsApp number, including the country code.
4. Click **Block**.
The contact will now appear in your Blocked Contacts list.

### Unblocking a Contact
If you blocked a contact by mistake, or want to start syncing their chats again
1. Go to [Workspace Settings](https://app.cooby.co/settings/blocked-contacts) **> Blocked Contacts**.
2. Find the number in the list.
3. Click **Unblock** next to it.
After you unblock a contact, their new 1:1 chats will sync to your workspace again.
